As your Main Dentist, Summit Dental Center is committed to keeping you and your family smiling! That’s why we’re here to help you understand the changes that are coming to your Medicaid Dental Program in Texas.

You have received a packet in the mail from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.

This letter is letting you know that you will now need to choose a “Dental Plan” along with choosing your “Main Dentist“. These Dental Plans will provide you with a network of dentists and dental clinics that are set-up to take care of your family’s teeth and oral health care needs.

All Texas Dental Medicaid beneficiaries from age 6 months to 20 years will be enrolled in one of three networks that will provide their dental care. The three dental care plans that you can choose from are: DentaQuest, Delta Dental, MCNA.

Because Summit Dental Center is a member of all three, you and your family will always have access to any of our 7 convenient Greater Houston area locations. The Dental Plan Provider you select will be in charge of keeping track of your dental care needs, working with us to make sure that you and your family receive the best dental care possible!

After you’ve decided which Dental Plan works best for you, it’s time to pick a Main Dentist.

But what is a Main Dentist?

A Main Dentist is your choice of a Dental Office or Specific Dentist you and your family prefer to go to for all of your oral health care needs. We would be honored if you would select Summit Dental Center for yourself and your children’s Oral Health Care.
